If you ever happen to have a blue day,  which I do, just about two days of every month,  I seek out brilliantly written comedy, inspired by a certain level of cognitive intelligence.  Thank God for the divine aspect of humor , and the available intermittent productions of Stuart Davis.   Enjoy!

First "integral Life Party" is scheduled for March 28th, in Denver,CO.  I am looking forward to it!   If you are reading this, are youi planning on going??  Did you get your ticket reservation??  It will be refreshing and interesting to have a larger group together who is informed by the AQAL model of development. 

My son said to me today that he needed to remove Paris Hilton from his IPOD, as he did not want Alexander Ovechkin to think he was a sissy,( that is if Alexander took a look at his IPOD.) as Isaiah is seeing him and Shawn this coming  week 7-11 March.  I said to him, be grounded in yourself and your own taste for anything in life.  Listen to this Paris Hilton song again, and imagine that this is your future girl friend singing this song to you, and if Alexandrer Ovechkin questions your Paris Hilton tune, you stand firm and tell him: You should listen to it, and tell me if you wouldn't you like your girlfriend to feel that way about you.  We had a good laugh.  He is keeping the tune!

I appreciate Daniel Pinchbeck's journey of exploring alternative methods of connecting to the doors of perception of what we deem as consciousness.  As William Blake so eloquently put it"if the doors of perception were open / everything would appear, as it is in reality, Infinite."  When it comes to psychedelics; societal fears precipitates our judgments and it puts an end to open ended inquiry. Frankly  speaking, it is limiting and un-interesting. However, there is a benefit to identify at what stage ,level, and line of development the use of  psychedelics can best assist our transformation. Moving us forward from a state experience into a stage of integrated and transcendent  development.  LSD can shatter a person's mind if their darkest shadows comes to life.    As human beings we are still in the cradle of development, as we still have so much to learn about subtle energies, as it flows through our gross, subtle, and casual bodies of experience.  When we limit our reality to the gross state of awareness it is literally like cutting ourselves off at the knees.  There are infinite realities and possibilities, and in  time  there will be more  explorers riding the cusp of consciousness, who are  READY TO ENGAGE IN FULL PLAY , NOT LIMITING THE CHOICES & TOOLS OF ENGAGEMENT, creating new grooves in our collective consciousness.  Creation is magically inspiring & beautiful, increasing in complexity, integration, and transcendence.  Thanks, Daniel, for  your brave and compelling books, on alternative means to exploring the territory of human consciousness.

We have had a  Consciousness & Ken Wilber Meetup since April of 2006.  There are 49 members, of whom 28 are active.  The members all have different needs, interests, and altitude.  The purpose of the meetup is to facilitate a forum where people can meet and build a community.  Since the needs and altitude varies I always suggest that the members bring  recently read material that is relevant to them for sharing.  New members are either well versed in Wilber, or have just been introduced to his work.  The members also have an option to join the Integral Salon that meets on the 3rd Monday of every month.    I keep it light & humorous as it is easy for some to forget that the Integral Practice is about the union of heart and mind (soul not excluded). The emphasis is on how  Wilbers material is experienced, comprehended, and integrated.  We meet at the Hilton Hotel in their Bar & Grill.  It is very comfortable, quiet, central, and provides a menu for those interested.  The staff are now very accustomed to the group.

My network consist of about 50 active practitioners.  My overall emphasis is the playful union of the Shiva & Shakti energies (sacred heart and rational mind).  The full embrace of both, as opposed to becoming top heavy.   It allows for spontaneity, lightness, laughter, transparency, and a fluid integration of the wisdom of our non dual traditions.  We all have various pathologies related to our present individual altitude, and it is advantageous to have a discriminating & wakeful awareness to our own process of unfolding, recognizing & embracing the unfolding  of the full circle, dance, play of unmanifest and manifestl energies.  For me, that is what the practice is all about.  Live & let Live!  & Kick UR Own Ass!
